The federal action evaluated in this EIS/EIR is the disposal of surplus MCAS Tustin property for subsequent reuse, approximately 1585 acres, in accordance with DBCRA established procedures for closing and realigning military installations. An approximate 17-acre parcel of MCAS Tustin was not declared surplus and will remain in federal ownership as an Army Reserve Center.
