The overall purpose of amending the Tustin Legacy Specific Plan (formerly known as the MCAS Tustin Specific Plan) is to provide comprehensive direction - in terms of revisions to development regulations, design guidance, and implementation of open space, circulation, and other infrastructure - for the remaining project area owned by the City of Tustin, while implementing the goals and policies of the City of Tustin General Plan. The Specific Plan Amendment calls for a range of residential product types and education, commercial, commercial/business, entertainment/recreation, and park land uses.
