This project modification to the Santa Maria Regional Landfill Facility ("landfill") Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWFP). The requested modification involves moving facilities to accommodate waste disposal in the lined landfill future area, increasing the height of the previous active landfill area (with hydrocarbon-impacted soils as closure foundation layer), and implementing waster diversion operations, such as concrete and asphalt recycling, agricultural plastic recycling, green waste recycling, construction and demolition materials (C&D) recycling, toy, furniture, and textile recycling, and metal hauling and recycling.
