City of Long Beach GFO-23-603 Blueprint Implementation
Description
The proposed project consists of installation of ten fast chargers and a 2MW battery backup system to support the City’s medium- and heavy-duty (MDHD) electric truck fleet, provide grid resiliency and stability at the Fleet Services Yard in Long Beach. The City will also complete design and engineering for 109 level 2 charging ports at Fleet Services Yard and 105 Level 2 charging ports at the Environmental Service Bureau (ESB) Yard. Beneficiaries include residents of Los Angeles County.
