Title: City of Greenfield Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project
Description: The Proposed Project consists of the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant (“WWTP”) facility, and the subsequent demolition of the existing WWTP. Additionally, potable and recycled water pipelines would be constructed within the right-of-way of Walnut Avenue west towards Thorp Avenue. The Proposed Project would construct additional recycled water pipeline located in the access road between the WWTP and effluent disposal site; a recycled water pump station would be constructed on the existing effluent disposal site. The Proposed Project would improve utilities onsite and in portions of Walnut Avenue west towards Thorp Avenue and the access road between the WWTP and existing effluent disposal site. The Proposed Project would improve the performance of the existing WWTP to ensure the facility can accommodate future flows, comply with current water quality standards, decrease reliance on groundwater supplies, and improve performance.
