Belvedere 6th Cycle Revised Housing Element Update
Description
The Proposed Project includes a comprehensive update to goals, policies, and programs in the Housing Element of the City’s General Plan and related zoning amendments and other actions needed to accommodate Belvedere's assessed share of the regional housing need. Amid the ongoing housing crisis in California, Belvedere is required to plan for at least 160 new housing units between 2023 and 2031, including 49 Very Low Income units (including 24 Extremely Low Income units), 28 Low Income units, 23 Moderate income units, and 60 Above Moderate units.
