Title: State Route 29 Improvements at Rutherford Road and Oakville Cross Road Intersections
Description: The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), in cooperation with Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), proposes to improve the operation and safety of SR 29 at the intersections of Oakville Cross Road (PM 22.72) and Rutherford Road (PM 24.59). A single-lane roundabout is proposed at the intersection of SR 29 and Oakville Cross Road. Due to right of way limitations, a roundabout will not be feasible at the Rutherford Road intersection without substantial right of way impact. Hence, the project proposes to install a traffic signal and/or other traffic calming measures at the intersection of SR 29/ Rutherford Road.
