Duncan Hill Treated Water Improvements Project

Description

The proposed Project involves the installation of approximately 1.5 miles of treated pipeline within Millertown Road, Calnick Lane, Voyiatzes Road, Duncan Hill Road, and Ophir Road, and 560 feet of pipeline that would be installed beneath non-native grasslands. Installing the 12-inch ductile iron pipeline would involve open-cut trenching to place new pipe. The width of the impact footprint associated with installing the pipeline would be approximately 10 feet (5 feet on either side of the alignment) (1.93 acres). In addition to the pipeline alignment, the Project includes a proposed staging area (0.34 acres) for equipment and supplies. Additionally, two pressure-reducing stations would be installed along the proposed Project alignment for the system to operate properly. The total footprint for the Project occupies approximately 2.27 acres.
