Title: Eureka Flood Reduction and Sea Level Rise Resiliency Project
Description: The City of Eureka Proposes this Project within urbanized coastal areas to reduce flooding, increase sea-level rise resiliency, an improve water quality in Humboldt Bay. The project would increase the storage capacity and conveyance of the storm drain network (via replacement of undersized pipes), implement flow attenuation and water quality improvements (via rain gardens and LID features), reduce trash conveyance into waterways (via trash capture devices), and enhance tidal circulation(via channel excavation and enhancements to Palco Marsh) to provide flood reduction and sea level rise resiliency.
