Chavez-Kemble Elementary School Rebuild Project
Description
The District plans to fully redesign and reconstruct the project site and combine Chavez Elementary School and Kemble Elementary School into one school––yet to be named. The capacity of the proposed school would decrease from 1,338 students to 850 students; buildings would be limited to two stories; and access to the site would be via driveways on 32nd Street, 29th Street, and Torrance Avenue.
