Description

The applicant is seeking discretionary approval for a proposed A-Type 3 “Medium Outdoor” commercial cannabis cultivation operation at 9840 Rocky Creek Road near Lower Lake, California on Lake County APN 122-251-15 (Project Parcel). The Project Property is composed of Lake County APNs 122-251-12 and 122-251-15. The Project Property is accessed via Rocky Creek Road, off of Morgan Valley Road. The proposed cultivation operation will be composed of a 43,500 sq. ft. canopy area, a 120 sq. ft. Security Room/Shed, a 120 sq. ft. Pesticides & Agricultural Chemicals Storage Area, and four 160 sq. ft. Harvest Storage Areas, four employee parking spaces (including one ADA compliant parking space), perimeter fence and security cameras, and the use of an existing on-site agricultural well. The proposed Project intends to use 677,770 gallons of water per year for irrigation. The Project proposes to utilize drip irrigation, PVC piping, and four (4) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks, totaling 10,000 gallons of water storage.
