Crows Landing Community Services District - Water System Improvement Project

Description

The Crows Landing Community Services District’s existing distribution system consists of galvanized steel pipelines that are over approximately 45 years old. Operational deficiencies in the system consist of undersized distribution pipelines, inoperable valves, and low system pressures. The existing water system will need to be replaced with new distribution and transmission pipelines, water meters, service laterals, vaults, hydrants, and valves along the public right-of-way. New service laterals will need to be connected to the existing homes and businesses. The planning project consists of engineering design, field investigation, and environmental review to improve the water system operation and maintenance and to meet the system demands and pressures. Potential ground disturbance activities include geotechnical borings that will be done in the public right-of-way. The project will not impact the environment.
