Title: Trinity County 2022 Regional Transportation Plan
Description: The purpose of the Trinity County 2022 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) is to provide the vision for the region, supported by transportation goals, for ten year (2022-2032) and twenty year (2033-2042) planning horizons. The RTP will assess the current modes of transportation in Trinity County and the potential of new travel options within the region; identify projected growth corridors and predict the future improvements and needs for travel and goods movement; identify and document specific actions necessary to address the region’s mobility and accessibility needs; and determine prioritized regional transportation projects and funding strategies for Trinity County over the next twenty years. The RTP will cover all transportation modes including local roadway improvements and maintenance, State highways, bridges, transit, bicycle, pedestrian, rail, and aviation. The RTP development process will be a collaborative effort between Trinity County, Caltrans, environmental and resource management agencies, and the public. The last RTP for the region was developed in 2016.
