Description

The project involves the construction of a 2.1-megawatt ground-mounted fixed tilt PV array approximately 6 acres in size on the undeveloped hillside to the northeast of the main campus Norco College campus and a 0.9-MW ground-mounted fixed tilt PV array approximately 2.7 acres in size on undeveloped land on the easternmost edge of the Moreno Valley College campus. Each array on each campus will tie into an existing 12 KV underground transmission line and battery energy storage facilities. Norco College, including the project site, is encumbered by a Land Use Covenant (LUC) with the DTSC which will require that a soil management plan by approved by the DTSC, and the property is under a voluntary cleanup agreement.
