- Description
- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to protect the creek bank of San Gregorio Creek on State Route 84 in the unincorporated community of La Honda, in San Mateo County, California. Caltrans proposes to permanently repair the eroded creek bank by building a new soldier pile and timber lagging wall, reconstruct the drainage system, replace the metal beam guard rails, and perform pavement overlay. The proposed project also will utilize bioengineered bank stabilization methods and indirect channel training measures to locally restore the San Gregorio Creek channel.
