Title: Proposed Amendments to the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) for Chromium Plating
Description: Approval of the Proposed Project, developed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), would reduce hexavalent chromium emissions emitted by chrome plating facilities to the lowest achievable level and to be consistent with CARB’s emission reduction strategies required under Assembly Bill (AB) 617. AB 617 requires CARB to prepare a statewide strategy to reduce emissions of TACs in communities that experience disproportionate burdens from exposure to air pollutants.
