- Chestnut & Tenth Commerial Project
- The proposed project proposes to rezone the site from C3 and CM to C3-Planned Unit Development (PUD) overlay district in order to demolish and remove all improvements onsite and construct a 120-room hotel, a carwash, and four commercial buildings (one of which would include a gasoline service station and convenience store and the remaining three which would include drive-through service). The four commercial buildings and carwash would total approximately 19,649 square feet. The site would be subdivided into six separate parcels. The project requires a rezoning, tentative parcel map and architectural and site plan review by the City. The site is located at the northwest corner of E Tenth Street and Chestnut Street in Gilroy, CA. The project has been evaluated for potential impacts pursuant to CEQA including aesthetics, air quality, archaeological, biological, storm drainage, flooding, geologic, noise, public services, traffic, water quality, land use, cumulative effects. Mitigation Measures have been incorporated into the project.
