Description

The Gateway Specific Plan (Gateway SP) is encompasses approximately 112 acres and 32 parcels located east of Interstate 215 (I-215) in the City of Grand Terrace (City). The Gateway SP site is bounded by Barton Road and vacant land to the north, former Gage Park and industrial uses to the south, Taylor Street and Grand Terrace High School and vacant parcels to the east, and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway and industrial/retail uses to the west. The Gateway SP is intended as a mixed-use development consisting of 22 Planning Areas (PAs). The Project is a specific plan for the approximately 112-acre site that serves to guide future development of residential, public utilities, commercial, and public park and open space uses. Future developments will also include associated on- and off-site infrastructure improvements (roadway improvements, sewer, water, storm drain, dry utilities), under the guidance of the Project.
