Description: The City of Arcata (City) proposes to complete improvements to a trail segment in the Arcata Community Forest Sunnybrae Tract in Arcata, California. The project site is immediately south of Fickle Hill Road, within parcel APN 500-022-004, a 6.17-acre parcel owned by the City of Arcata. The proposed Project will construct approximately, 600 linear feet of recreational trail. The project involves construction, use, and maintenance of the recreational trail segment. The project also includes a crossing of Fickle Hill Road to facilitate recreational use connectivity. The trail segment connects two tracts that are part of the greater Arcata Community Forest and is part of the Arcata Ridge Trail. See attached sheet for full project description.
