Auto Canna
The project will consist of 153,560 square feet of canopy areas within 158,800 square feet cultivation area. Due to high slopes, complex grading will need to be applied for to move approximately 20,000 cubic yards of earth with 20 feet cut and 10 feet fill for the whole cultivation area. Existing improvements on the project property include a groundwater well with a solar-powered pump, a 5,000-gallon plastic water storage tank, a septic system designed for a single family dwelling, and native soil surfaced access road. The proposed ancillary facilities is surrounded by a 6-foot tall chain-link fence with privacy mesh coverings and will include the following: 5,000-gallon plastic water storage tanks, a 120 square feet pesticides and agricultural chemicals storage area, a 120 square feet security building and a 5,000 square feet processing facility (metal building) with a roof-mounted photovoltaic solar array. The cultivation season for Auto Canna’s proposed outdoor cannabis cultivation operation will begin on April and end around mid-November of each year. The growing medium of Auto Canna’s proposed outdoor canopy area(s) will be an amended native soil mixture at or below grade, composed of native soil and compost. Cultivation will occur in full sunlight with no artificial lighting, and will utilize drip irrigation systems to conserve water resources.
