Mad River Floodplain and Public Access Enhancement Project

Description

This project will assist with finalizing the design and engineering for the habitat restoration and public access amenities, and construction of public access components. The project will construct an Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compatible path (700’), a new coastal overlook with four interpretive signs, an interpretive brochure-based tour, three resting sites with benches, a 600-foot gravel wildland interface trail, a lightly developed boat launch feature, and development of a long-term management plan.
