- Description
- The Project will include infrastructure, recreation and habitat enhancement elements to increase recreation and public educational opportunities, provide regional trail connections, restore floodplaln habitat, and improve habitat for native plants, fish and wildlife. The Project will include construction of a Visitor Center, a Yurok Demonstration Site, a redwood tree Canopy Walkway, and a new segment of the California Coastal Trail (CCT). Additionally, the Project will include onsite stream and wetland restoration to enhance nearby Prairie, Skunk Cabbage and Libby Creeks, In turn Improving rearing habitat for salmonids that are federally and state listed as threatened.
