Old Ranch Road Tank No. 2

Description

The project includes construction of a new 100,000 gallon welded steel potable water tank (28-ft diameter, 26-feet tall) intended to replace an aging existing 50,000 gallon redwood tank approximately 150-ft away. The additional capacity was added to address Novato Fire Protection District storage capacity goals. The tank will be located on a 20,000 SF parcel created by grant deed within the southern corner of Assessor's Parcel Number 146-310-05. The planned improvements also include constructing an access road for the new tank from Old Ranch Road. New pavement, surface drainage improvements, underground utilities and other ancillary improvments are included as part of the project.
