- Description
- LADWP proposes to implement the Van Norman Complex Routine Operation and Maintenance Program (proposed project) to ensure the proper function of existing facilities throughout the Van Norman Complex (VNC). The proposed project involves routine vegetation management and maintenance activities at several existing facilities (work areas) throughout the VNC. Due to the unique characteristics between work areas, the specific activities performed at each work area would vary on a site-bysite basis. The activities can generally be characterized as removal of overgrown vegetation, mowing herbaceous vegetation, and removal of accumulated sediment and debris. In performing these proposed maintenance activities, maintenance staff would use equipment ranging from hand tools, mowers, loaders, bobcat dozers, and backhoes.
