Description: Desert Hot Springs proposes a comprehensive update to its General Plan consisting of seven elements, including Land Use; Mobility and Infrastructure; Housing; Economic Development; Open Space, Natural, and Cultural Resources; Health and Wellness; and Safety and Noise elements. The General Plan Update is intended to achieve the land use, transportation, housing, and economic development goals of the City that reflect the community's growth over the long-term. The City is also updating the Zoning map and districts to be consistent with the General Plan Update.
