Title
Thousand Trails Crossing Repair
Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0025-RS, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to MHC TT, L.L.C as represented by Brett Hattel. The project is limited to the replacement of a degraded stream crossing. Currently, a system of approximately 20 cement pipe culverts running underneath the road are failing and falling into the stream as the downstream side of the crossing erodes. As a temporary fix while the permanent solution is being permitted, the existing crossing shall be repaired in a way that is minimally engineered, excludes the use of cement, and is planned for removal within three years of execution of this Agreement. The Agreement authorizes the one time clearing of sediment and vegetation 20 feet upstream the crossing to allow water to flow freely through the culverts and not be impounded, and the repair of the culverts limited to 15 feet on the downstream side of the crossing.
