- Madera County proposes to update and improve the MD-1 WTP and drinking water system to meet applicable drinking water standards and address the Compliance Order for disinfection byproducts by adopting post-treatment chlorination. Improvements to the system would also increase the capacity of the WTP to meet peak demands, fire flows, and foreseeable future domestic water demand. *Update - Addendum to MND has been added, which now includes Storage Tank and Fill Line improvements as part of the water system improvements project.
