Highway Maintenance Project

Description

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a Highway Maintenance project to re-stripe State Route (SR) 108 from post mile 15.0 to R22.4, and on SR-132 from post mile 14.6 to 23.1, within Stanislaus County. The scope of work includes removing and replacing the existing mainline and adjacent intersections with warranty traffic stripe, thermoplastic traffic stripe, and thermoplastic pavement marking. All work will occur within Caltrans right of way. The purpose of the project is to replace the existing striping so that it meets new striping standards and to rejuvenate existing delineation. The need for this project is to prevent further deterioration of the striping visibility .
