Orange County Sanitation District Headworks Rehabilitation at Plant No. 1 (Project No. P1 -105)

Description

Implementation of the proposed project would consist of a combination of construction activities that include the rehabilitation of existing facilities, construction of new facilities, and demolition of existing facilities. Rehabilitation activities would be mechanical and/or electrical in nature. All new above-grade structures would range between 18 and 39 feet in height. Demolition of existing facilities would generally include removal of concrete, steel, mechanical equipment, piping, electrical wiring, raceways and ductbanks, as well other utilities which may be present. Once constructed, the new headworks would continue the function of the existing facility.
