Title: Thornton Middle School Conversion Project
Description: The Thornton Middle School Conversion project would convert Fremont Unified School District’s (FUSD) existing Thornton Junior High School, at 4357 Thornton Avenue in the City of Fremont, from a 7th and 8th grade junior high school to middle school with 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The Project would include construction of new buildings and facilities on the existing campus, and upgrades to existing campus facilities. The project is intended to support an increase in school capacity from 1,259 students to 2,176 students.
