- Gillespie Field Runway Object Free Area/Runway Safety Area Drainage Improvement Project
- Description
- The project consists of installing approx 2,300 ft of 42-in reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) in the location of an existing earthen swale used for storm water conveyance. The RCP would be covered leaving grated openings to capture storm water flows. In addition, the proposed project includes the installation of an additional RCP from approx the center of the previously mentioned RCP to the south 800 ft connecting to an underground detention basin south of Joe Crosson Dr. The proposed project also includes installation of separated ingress and egress connection points between the adjacent 70-acre site and Taxiway Delta.
