Title: Well No. 1 Improvement Project
Description: The proposed project includes the replacement of an existing municipal potable water supply well with a new supply well, pump, emergency generator equipment, upgrades to electrical controls, and site piping modifications at the existing Well No. 1 site. The project will also involve the demolition of the currently inactive existing well and an existing granular activated carbon (GAC) system that will no longer be needed for water treatment. The proposed well replacement and related system upgrades will improve well water quality, increase well efficiency and improve reliability- and operations of the overall water system.
