Title: State Route 57 Northbound Improvement Project (PM 11.5 to 12.5), Orangewood to Katella
Description: Improve the northbound SR 57 from Orangewood Ave (PM 11.5) to Katella Ave (PM 12.5), in the cities of Orange and Anaheim, Orange County. Improvements include widen NB Section of SR 57 to accommodate a fifth general purpose lane, (including Santa Ana River Bridge, Stadium Over Head Bridge/Douglass & Katella Off Ramp), plus upgrades to median and reconfiguration of existing on & off ramps. In addition to the No Build, there are 3 build alternatives, one of the alternatives proposes a new (additional) structure. Project includes seismic retrofit for bridges. Temporary construction easements are needed including work within SCCRA-OCTA/Metrolink RR and Orange County Flood Control District. No relocations are required. Total estimated disturbed soil area is 9.6 acres. Minor detours are anticipated.
