Graves Creek at Santa Lucia Road Bridge Replacement Project

Description

The city is proposing to replace the reinforced concrete T-girder bridge structure (Existing bridge no. 49C-0164) over Graves Creek along Santa Lucia Rd. The existing bridge does not meet current design standards and is considered functionally obsolete. The proposed project includes replacement of the existing bridge with an approx 73-ft long, single span, cast-in-place post tensioned concrete slab bridge. The project would require temporary detours during the 6-8 month construction period. The new bridge structure would be widened to meet current standards but the project would not increase the number of travel lanes or capacity on the bridge.
