- The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to the California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.8, Division 20, Section 25323.1 and 25356.1, approved the Remedial Action Work plan (RAW) dated August 25, 2017 for the Seaside Resort Development (SRD), LLC for Site 33 Maintenance Yard (Site 33), Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Course. The project activities consist of excavating approximately 1,361 cubic yards of contaminated soil impacted with chemical s of concern (COC) which include lead, mercury, cadmium, dieldrin, chlordane, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane including breakdown products dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane and dichlorodiphenyltrichlorethylene.
