Title: San Jose Water Company Columbine Station Improvements Project
Description: The proposed project would demolish the existing Columbine Reservoir, construct two pre-stressed concrete tanks and associated infrastructure within the Columbine Station. Both tanks would have an interior diameter of 205 ft and an operating depth of 22 ft, which equates to a combined usable volume of approx 10 M gallons of water. Additional site improvements involve the remediation of hazardous materials in the existing storm water sump, which is located to the southwest corner of the station. Up to 64 trees (49 ordinance size and 15 non-ordinance size) would be removed from the station to accommodate the construction of the new tanks and supporting infrastructure.
