The 2017 Restoration of Habitat Impacted by Cannabis Cultivation Project
Description
The 2017 Restoration of Habitat Impacted by Cannabis Cultivation Project will use funds approved by the CA Legislature to award grants through a competitive process to projects designed to restore watersheds damaged by cannabis cultivation. The Cannabis Project's objectives are to improve watershed habitat for coho salmon, Chinook salmon, steelhead trout, and coastal cutthroat trout. Other wildlife species, such as Pacific fisher, foothill yellow legged frog, northern spotted owl, marbled murrelet, bald eagle, golden eagle, black bear, and Coastal marten will also benefit from the Cannabis Project.
