- CA Water Service, a member agency of County of Butte receives 33,000 acre feet per year Pre-1914 PG&E water herein referred to as "Non-Project Water," via the Miocene Canal, Butte County, on behalf of CWS, has requested for up to 3,000 acre-feet per year of this Non-Project Water to be diverted to CWS's turnout via Lake Oroville and the Thermalito Power Canal through Dec. 31, 2027. A simplified schematic of CWS's existing and proposed water conveyance for a portion of its contract PG&E water is provided in Figure 3 of Cal Water's Initial Study/Negative Declaration.
