Title: Jeffrey Open Space Trail Extension Project (Barranca Parkway to Walnut Avenue)
Description: Note: Review Per Lead The proposed project is an extension of the Jeffrey Open Space Trail and would construct a lighted Class I off-street bicycle-pedestrian trail along the east side of Jeffrey Road, between Barranca Parkway and Walnut Avenue. The proposed trail would cross roadways at-grade at existing intersections, and no new grade separation are proposed. Also, the proposed project would construct a rest area at the northeast corner of Jeffrey Road and Barranca Parkway. The project is consistent with the general plan circulation element trails network and provides a significant gap closure in the JOST system, linking trails and communities.
