Big Ranch Road Widening Project

Description

The project consists of the widening, installing street improvements, undergrounding existing utilities and restriping of Big Ranch Rd. Widening would occur to incorporate a portion of four residential parcel frontages adjacent to the west of the ROW, within a 0.91-acre area. Underground utility work and restriping would directly north and south of the widening area. Traffic improvements consist of one northbound vehicle lane, two southbound vehicle lanes, and a combination turn lane. Class II bicycle lanes would also be included along each edge of the traveled way. A proposed 250-ft striping transition from Catania Lane to the north will transition from the proposed configuration to the existing striping immediately south of the bridge over Salvador Creek.
