- Archeological Testing of Sites MNT-1487 and MNT-1504
- Description
- Professional Archeological Excavation of two, 1-x-1 meter units within the cultural site (MNT-1487) in order to characterize age and significance of the site. Also, excavate 1 1-x-1 meter unit and 1 1-x-2 meter unit at site MNT-1504 in order to characterize the Native American occupation of this site (when was it occupied) as well. Collect and submit 16 radiocarbon samples for analysis. A written report will be completed for both sites. The work will be conducted on private land (Santa Lucia Conservancy).
