Emergency Repair of 4709 Clairemont Mesa Blvd Corrugated Pipe

Description

The project will replace a deteriorating and failing storm drain that has caused severe slope erosion leaving a crevice of 30 feet wide and 25 feet deep. Construction will include a temporary 15-foot wide access road, replaced of exsisting pipe with a 24-inch concrete pipe, replacement of headwall, creation of riprap dissipater, and the return of crevice, bed and bank to pre-failure conditions. The purpose of the project is to replace the storm drain and stabilize the area in order to protect human safety and property.
