Description

The 2017 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy sets forth an update to the comprehensive transportation system to serve the travel needs of the Lake Tahoe Region and meet regional goals. The plan identifies a long-term vision, regional transportation goals and supportive projects, and policies and programs needed to meet these goals. The 2017 plan is an update to the 2012 Regional Transportation Plan, Mobility 2035, and as such identifies the projects, policies, and programs planned for implementation in the Tahoe Region through 2040, as compared to those identified in Mobility 2035, which had a 2035 planning horizon.
