Title: Rand Communities Water Supply Project
Description: The proposed project will upgrade a water system to comply with federal and state drinking water standards. The project includes a new water source on public land to solve an arsenic non-compliance problem within the RCWD. The project includes the construction of a new water tank, a well, access road, and 2,150 water line at Site A. At Site B, an existing water line will be abandoned and approx. 11,250 feet of a 6 inch waterline will be constructed along the north side of Redrock Randsburg Road. The new 6 inch line will save approx. 110 feet of pumping head and reduce the pumping pressures in the pipeline, which will reduce leaks.
