Tejon-Castac Surface Water Treatment Plant, Water System No. 1503341 (SCH No. 2010088191) Expansion

Description

The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The Tejon-Castaic Water District, within the footprint of the existing water treatment site, added a 7 foot by 11 foot, 400 gallon per minute, AP-4 treatment skid, a 5 foot by 9 foot module rack, an enhanced flux maintenance & clean in place system (chemical system cleaners), a 5-horsepower, 460 volt, 60 hertz motor with 60 gallon receiver tank air compressor, a pre-packaged booster pump station with 325 gallon per minute pumps, and a 10 foot by 21 foot carbon granulated activated carbon vessel. 12, 8, 4, and 1 inch pipeline were installed to connect the new and old systems components.
