Title: Lost Cannon Ditch Maintenance
Description: The CDFW proposes to perform maintenance activities on approximately 1,500 linear feet of the Lost Cannon ditch. Maintenance activities will include cutting of vegetation, and shallow excavation of an anchor trench, as necessary to install and secure a water impermeable ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber liner. The vegetation work will be conducted between October 1 and March 1 in order to avoid potential impacts to nesting and migratory birds. The purpose of this project is to increase the efficiency of this section of irrigation ditch by preventing potential water losses to the soil.
