Camarillo Airport Northeast Hangar Development

Description

The proposed project involves the development of up to 105 nested T-hangars and 13 executive box hangars to be constructed by the County in phases on open land in the northeast quadrant of the Camarillo Airport. Site access for the County-owned hangar area will occur via established on airport roads through airport security gates. Related improvements include taxi lane construction and utility and drainage infrastructure. Space is also reserved for two approximate 50,000 sf or four approximate 25,000 sf commercial hangars to be developed by a private entity in the future. The actual building dimensions and locations may vary depending on the future developers plan for the allowable lease area. These facilities will be subject to their own separate environmental review process.
