- The Green Line Mixed Use Specific Plan provides for development of 2.53-acre plan area with a transit-oriented mixed use neighborhood that provides needed housing opportunities and amenities for professional employees, especially employees in high tech companies that are located in Hawthorne. To do so, the specific plan establishes framework and standards for development within the plan area, including land uses, building and site design, transportation, infrastructure, and streetscape strategies that accommodate up to 305 high quality multi-family residential units and 11,020 square feet of supporting small restaurant, retail, and other commercial uses within the plant area.
