- Description
- The purpose of this project is to construct a three-mile segment of the San Dieguito River Park Coast to Crest Trail. This segment will extend through Pamo Valley connecting the existing Lower Santa Ysabel Trail to the Upper Santa Ysabel Trail. The project entails grading a six to eight foot wide hiking trail and two trail head staging areas with culvert crossings where necessary and one Puncheon bridged crossing. The trail will be made of compacted native soil supplemented by gravel, decomposed granite, or road base. Hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians will use the new trail.
