- The Jimmy Durante Blvd. and San Dieguito Dr. Intersection Improvement Project evaluates two project alternatives and the "no project" alternative to determine current and potential future improvements that would provide for pedestrian safety and improved traffic flow through the intersection. The proposed project is a traffic roundabout, with the project alternatives being; a traffic signal, and the existing condition, or "no project" alternative, being a side street stop control. Any project improvements would be within the existing City of Del Mar street right-of-way without expanding capacity, and the project would not impact the San Dieguito River.
